The Center was founded by two leading experts on the psychology of compassion, mindfulness, and behavior change, Dr. Dennis Tirch & Dr. Laura Silberstein-Tirch. Dennis and Laura have written 7 groundbreaking books, published peer-reviewed research, and have trained thousands of psychotherapists throughout the world. Their work has been covered by the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, NPR, and other media sources.
The Center for CFT’s team is an highly expert, dedicated, and intentionally selective group of psychologists, who deliver gold-standard, research-supported techniques with an emphasis on mindfulness, acceptance, and compassion. We are a team in the truest sense, working together in research, writing, treatment development and case conceptualization, to advance our field and serve our clients with the highest standards possible.
